Television and Home Theater

Hello, I was wondering if you guys could help me with a Sanyo television bought in 2007. The problem I'm having with it is that the color on it turns blue occasionally. The picture itself is fine, the color just turns blue and most of the time I have to smack the side or top of it to make it normal again. My dad called up and they told him a part needs replacing and then later said they don't make that part anymore, but they sent us a refund.

I'm wondering, do you know what this part is called? I'd like to see if we can fix it ourselves.

After poking around all day to find info on my convergence problem, I decided to order a repair kit from tvrepairkits.com.  Meanwhile I figured I'd start pulling the board out.  After removing it, I noticed that two resistors (3159 & 3160) had burn marks on one end where they met the board.  Would I just be able to replace those two resistors or do I still have to replace the convergence chips as well?

The tv and seperate receiver will both power up but there is no display on the screen.  No video or channel number etc.  The audio works fine and the tv will change channels and inputs.  I have a service manual and testers if has seen a similar problem please sahre your experience.
