Television and Home Theater

My sony is showing menu just fine and channel number and no signal but there is only sound for the first 2 seconds that you change a channel and then nothing screen seems to be divided in half sometimes you can make outn faces but mostly just colored lines going right to left and then back front timer is blinking 5 times have tried all seven video ports and nothing works on any of them tried unplugging and letting tv reset itself no other ideas please please help dawn

I woke up about 2 weeks ago with the red status light blinking slowly. I reset the TV from the front panel & now have the Green Blinking Light of Death (GLOD). So here's what I've done to no avail so far. Changed out 4 x 1000mF capacitors (with 35 V ones) on FMT board (all were bulged & bad), then changed out 4 x 1000mF capacitors on DM board (2 were good & 2 were open), then changed out 4 x 1000mF bulged capacitors on Power board. No change...still had GLOD.

Hi guys, this is my first thread, and post here. Based on other threads, I feel that there are some real top notch guys on here who really know their stuff. So Hopefully I can get some help on this one, because I am torn.
