Television and Home Theater

I can't seem to get my main menu to come up on this lcd. Can anyone help! I have posted others things on here and it seem like this forum does not want to response to my posting. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Everyone,

I am newbie here on techlore, wonder if anyone can help. Got a LG lcd tv model# 32LC2D just recently went to turn it on nothing works. The remote and side buttons won't function at all. I check the remote IR and it worked under camera shot. I took another IR sensor and replace the one inside the tv and that didn't work. I have checked the power supply to see if it get a 5V-standby power and in fact I do, because the front red indicator light is lited. Can anyone help! 

Our Mitsubishi WS-B55 started with black lines across the screen.  Can you help me figure out the problem.
