"Hello, I am an owner of a Toshiba 40H80 rear projection television. About 2 months ago I had some convergence problems. I attempted fixing it myself. Unfortunately I altered the geometry and had to have a professional repair the mess. While in the service menu. I believe I did something to the sound/volume. I have no sound form the TV but I am able to use my home theatre(separate from the TV). I also have a Playstation 2 and cannot get sound to produce using it.
my tv broke once already the screen went black and burning smell came out of back of set.had it fixed two months later when i hook up digitial box into componet jacks red green and blue lines run over picture with loud huming noise coming out of speakers and somtimes when i turn on tv i get a squeling noise coming out of back, can anyone help.
I have a JVC AV-27D302 Tv thats only 3 years old. There are horizantal lines on the top portion of the screen that started out real thin about an 3/4 of an inch and have progressily gotten wider and are slowly extending further down the screen. The picture behind these lines seem to be rolling or flipped upside down....
