NO Sound Toshiba 40H80TV

"Hello, I am an owner of a Toshiba 40H80 rear projection television. About 2
months ago I had some convergence problems. I attempted fixing it myself.
Unfortunately I altered the geometry and had to have a professional repair
the mess. While in the service menu. I believe I did something to the
sound/volume. I have no sound form the TV but I am able to use my home
theatre(separate from the TV). I also have a Playstation 2 and cannot get
sound to produce using it. There is a on/off switch on the back of the TV,
which is in the OFF position and I have made sure the AUDIO settings are in
the ON position. I do hear a mechanical sound(very faint-with my ear close
to the speaker) when adjusting the volume on the TV. Can it be fixed ? Is
there something in the service menu I may have changed? Please let me know."
