Television and Home Theater

Help...I purchased a Techview 42" plasma TV from Comp USA last December and I cannot find any information about this company and need to have the set repaired! Comp USA will not help me. In fact they have no information about Techview, even though they sold it to me. I have searched the Internet with no results. My set will no longer accept a signal from the remote (yes, I did change the batteries in the remote and purchased a universal remote). I cannot find a TV repair company that will work on this set, and I live in New York City.

I PURCHASED A USED RCA 32 INCH TV. MDEL #F32648 MANUFACTURED IN MAR 2001. WHEN I BROUGHT IT HOME IT WORKED FINE. I SHUT IT OFF AND TURNED IT BACK ON AND IT HAD NO PICTURE. I TAPPED IT ON THE SIDE AND IT WORKED FINE UNTIL I SHUT IT OFF AGAIN. THEN NO PICTURE AGAIN. I LET IT SIT FOR A COUPLE OF MONTHS AND THEN TURNED IT ON AND IT WORKED FINE FOR ABOUT 10 MIN. THEN NO PICTURE AGAIN. COULD SOMEONE GIVE ME SOME IDEA WHAT COULD BE WRONG?

I have an older mitsubshi Big screen I just recently replaced a few leaky capacitors I thought this would fix my vert hold problem if there is anyone who can direct me to the problem I would certinaly appreciate it Thanking you in advance. RICKIE
