Audio popping noise when using HDMI

Hello all, I am new to the forum. I have for the first time connected a DVD player to my HDMI port on my AQUOS (Sharp LC-26GA5U). Picture is perfect at 1080 but the audio makes a popping noise.

My thoughts are, the DVD player (NeuNeo HDV2081) only does interlaced or progressive over the HDMI port I think. The 26" AQUOS does not support either I think?

I could be wrong here but wanted to get a second opinion from someone that may have had this problem with the same or other TV.

Constant rythmic popping noise only on the HDMI source.

Mitsubishi Rear Proj CRT - Red Convergence is Way Off

We turned on our three-year-old Mitsubishi WS-55511 tonight, and the red convergence is three-four inches to the right of the green and blue, even with the factory default convergence settings.

When I try to adjust the convergence, it works on some areas of the screen. But in other areas, the red lines are crooked and distored, and can't be brought into line.

The problem appears in the TV's own on-screen displays, so I'm sure the problem is in the TV, not in my cable box or DVD player.

Has anyone else seen a problem like this? Do I need professional service?

Downed GE tv

We still have sound on our 6 year old GE tv but the screen went black with just a white line across the screen. Does that sound like a picture tube to anyone? Can a person repair that themselves? Any ideas for someone who cannot afford a new tv right now????

RCA ProScan 52" replace HV Splitter

I've noticed a number of similar problems with the RCA & ProScan tv's - I've had mine repaired twice for $250 to $300 each time - it was the HV_splitter (I watched the repairman the last time) I got the part and tried to replace it - the red wire inputs have to be jammed in 1" TO 1 1/2" and I've never seen a contact system like that - it hasnt worked so far has anyone else tried this repair? Do I need to strip the end of the wires more than the 3/8" they were when I pulled them out? Any help is appreciated.....
