I've noticed a number of similar problems with the RCA & ProScan tv's - I've had mine repaired twice for $250 to $300 each time - it was the HV_splitter (I watched the repairman the last time) I got the part and tried to replace it - the red wire inputs have to be jammed in 1" TO 1 1/2" and I've never seen a contact system like that - it hasnt worked so far has anyone else tried this repair? Do I need to strip the end of the wires more than the 3/8" they were when I pulled them out? Any help is appreciated.....
I have the same problem you do i need to replace the hv splitter i just need to know how to get it in and then i can tell you how to fix your problem
