Television and Home Theater

I was unsoldering the convergence stk amps.after
unsoldering i checked the pins with needle nose plyers to see if they were loose.one pin i checked not sure if it was the pad,fell off pin.when i repaired a break in foil i would use copper wire to fix the break.not sure about this.

When I hit the power button on my 36" RCA TV, it turns on and imeadiatly turns itself off. Then it repeats the on/off cycle three more times. The whole process takes about nine seconds. Anyone have a suggestion? The set is appx. 6 years old, average home use.

My TV will turn on and the picture will be fine for about 10 minutes. After it has been on a few minutes, the picture will fade from clear to very grey, and then go completely black. The sounds still works fine even after the picture is lost. Can anyone give advice as to the nature of the problem and best option to cure or purchase another TV.
