Television and Home Theater

Help!!! My ultravision was doing fine when I turned it off, but now I have no picure and no sound. The red power light wont even come on. I can hear the "clicking" sound when I turn it on on the unit or by using the remote, but it does nothing. Any suggestions on my problem? The unit is about 8 or 9 years old. Thanks.

i have replaced the power module and signal board, because it was stuck by lightning. I now have power and sound but no picture. could something not be connected correctly? According to the locator numbers, all wires are connected correctly. Maybe something not so obvious??

I have a SONY KP53V15 which is to bright,I have the brightness on the TV all the way down.I had a tv tech fix a problem which he did, the picture would get big then go back to normal, there was to much light in the room and I didn't notice until later that night of the bright picture.Does anyone know if there is a Master Bright control on the adjustment board and what number it is?IF not it's going to cost me another house call,Thanks.
