Television and Home Theater

I have been connecting my laptop to a video projector for presentations.  I worked fine until a few months ago when the video display turned to Black & white--no color.  (I still have color on my notebook monitor)  I have tried everything I know to fix the problem.  New cable, changing resolution, tried a different projector--all with same results.  When I connect via a VGA port, the color shows up on the projector display.  The laptop has been returned to the manufacturer twice for replacement of the system board (which includes the s-video port), but

One day I came home and the TV was buzzing. It wont even turn on. I unplugged for a few days. I went to plug it in and it still buzzes. I have checked the outlet on the wall, and it is fine. Can anyone tell me what it might be. I want to ask around, before I call a service technician. Thank you.

I have a 27 inch mitsu tv that the tuner i beleive has an issue.

I can tune in all cable channels but sound only, the picture is scrambled (like ppv ones)

My dvd player quit at the exact same time. It keeps blowing fuses.

I think my house experienced a power surge and took out the dvd which inturn may have screwed up the tv tuner too.

The tv will not even tune to the inputs through the rca jacks.

I have tried both cable A and B and both sets of inputs through RCAs with another DVD player and no luck.
