My television was less than 3 years old when the screen went black and made a loud buzzing noise. The first repair shop had the tv for over two months but could not obtain any parts from RCA in Ontarion, Canada.

The tv was working great until yesterday. All of a sudden the left side of the tv has a pink line on it about a half an inch thick and all the words are messed up(looks like double vision) on the left side.   the right side and middle still look perfect.  please help

can a screen be fixed after a magnet has passed

hey all,  Yell tonight my lovely little girl run a magnetic toy over the front of my teac colour tv and now i have two green quarters with two red in oppisite cornners. how do i fix it or is the tube now stuffed?

We bought this tv about 5 years ago.  We have really enjoyed it until a few months ago, it started to make a pop sound and the video would blink, sometimes turning white for a split second.  It was intermitent and sometimes we would go weeks without it doing that. 

HELP! SONY KP-51HW40 PROJECTION, TURNS GREEN THEN SHUTS OFF??

Hey guys and gals. I'm in desparate need of some assistance please. I have a Sony projection tv, model KP51HW40 that I bought in 03. I love it, unfortunately now when I turn it on, the screen turn's green with some sort of yellowish curvy design on it and then turns off after 5-10 second's. The standby light also blinks while it's doing this. Any suggestion's???  Could I possible repair it myself??  Thank you and God bless

Panasonic RPTV TX-51P400H wont work!

Hi,

 I just bought a damaged Panasonic RPTV TX-51P400H and it isn't currently working. I had a technician look at it and apparently the resistors have burnt out around some intergrated circuits.

The repair costs would be over $400 so I was wondering if it were possible to fix this myself or if there were a cheaper way around it?

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
