Television and Home Theater

We have a Sony KDL-55EX720. When the TV is turned on, it display the screen for few seconds and them it automatically Turn Off and give a signal of 4 red light blinks.  This is suppose to be a backlight inverter failure, as we found on internet. We requested Sony Part 147430211 (DPS-78 CH 1-883-933-11) G8 Converter/inverter and replaced. But the TV Still give the same message. What can you recommend us to do?

Hi. I have a 1997 big screen philips magnavox 7p6033w101. And every few seconds the picture will try to resize itself. It goes full screen then shrinks. It does this over and over. I opened it up and cleaned the lenses and mirror, it helped a little, now it does it about every minute.  And when it warms up ( about 5 min) it seems to only do it once ever 10-15 min.  Does something need adjusted or just cleaned better?  Thanks Aaron

i turned my sony kp-46wt510 tv on today and the screen was blue i could bearly see the program or the menu for that matter. I shut it off and tried again this time i counted the timer/stand by light blinks 11 times. I took the back of the tv the one with all the holes and looked at the lamps and the only one that was on was the blue one. i have looked all the internet and have not found a fix. If anyone could help me trouble shoot and fix the problem it would be greatly appreciated.
