i'm kinda having some of the same problems. i had a power surge the other day and the tv was off but i have not been able to get the tv to turn on,at firstit was a green flashing light for about 10 sec pause and made a buzzing noize then flashed again. it did this for 2 days, and now its a steady green flashing light. tried all the seggestions like holding the power button and unplugging it ... nothing so i guess i need the repair manual please send it to [email protected] thanks
I'm new to this web-site but certainly not new to the blinking green light on my Mitsubishi WD-52525. no picture reset the system and green light will flash then sometimes lamp light will go red sometimes not. sometime there is some static from the audio if you turn it up full. Checked the bulb and it looks like it should haven't taken a meter to see if it Continuity through it. It sounds like you have the know how to resolve this issue I would like to see if you can you too can send me any manuals on it and trouble shooting steps. it was a free TV, if it cant be fixed I am not out anything. ..... Seems there's multiple forums for this same problem. I left a comment on another forum, so if I'm repeating myself please accept my apologies. Have a WD-52525 with the dreaded green blinking light. Don't waste your time it has been found that several capacitors are back on the DM board and you would have to replace them all. I have replaced six to start with TV worked for abount six months. Push it to the curb and go buy a new tv.
Whats funny is i spoke with Mitsubishi (8003322119) and they told me they will pay for all parts as long as i fax them a valid tech quote. Who here is handy with photo shop?

I have the same irritating green flashing light too. I have not replaced the bulb yet. Do you think I should start their first or go ahead and replace the capacitors as well? Anyone have any info on where i can get a bulb for the 52525?..............and the instructions for replacing the capacitors.
