wicho PONCE said: I have a similar problem that appears on this forum with a KP-51WS520 when I try turn on the set the audio comes on but no picture after a few seconds it turns off and the blinking light remains. My question is: It could be the G-BOARD or D6116 or D6301 and if it's the G-board someone knows the price for rebuild it? Thanks: Wicho PONCE

like I have said here many many times it is most likely the diodes listed here a zillion times on the g board!!! could be the G-BOARD or D6116 or D6301 and if it's the G-board someone knows the price for rebuild it? Contact ptscorp.com for a price to rebuild the board. for the 9 blink problem.

I Have the kp-51ws520 sony projection tv and its a few years old. Recently there has appeared two rows of dots near the top of the screen. The dots appear to be white but when I used a camera to photo them they looked blue. They get brighter when I use remote control then dim down but never go out. I tried to use the flash focus button and tv goes black like it is going to work but never completes the process and I have to turn it back on. Also I tried te manual convergence feature but It wont Highlight so I can use it. Called local repair man and he said he never seen problem before. Also can the repair be done by myself.
I have a Sony KP-51WS520 Widescreen TV.
When I pushed the power button on the remote all I get is the standby light blinking 9 times. I also pushed the tv button many times manually and it would come on.
But now that dosen't work any more.

I couldn't find the complete 'g' boards on http://www.tristatemodule.com/ or www.partstore.com .
Does anyone have a link to a part number somewhere?
