This is a mid 90's projection with chassis PTV620 ? Chassis number may be on back label. I don't see a manual in the download section.
You can read some of the articles on tv safety then unplug the tv and pull the main boards and look for burnt components or bad solder joints or leaks from the crt's onto the boards.
