PlayStation2 no system data

I am trying to set up a new playstation 2 with Dance Dance Revolution.  After the Sony Playstation credits come on and it says loading... I get a message that says  There is No System Data.  Create? Whether I say Yes or No, I get a message that says... Start  game anyway?  Whether I answer yes or no I get sent back to the original message.  What have I done wrong?

I BEARLY BOUGHT MY PS2 AND IT WORKED THE FIRST FEW DAYS BUT NOW IT WON'T READ THE DISK COULD IT BE COUSE I ACCIDENTLY DROPPED IT PLZ EMAIL ME AND TELL ME WHATS THE PROBLEM

connection problems

when playing (trying) online with the PS3 its telling me that it can't conn. me with a certain player or the host. what is this problem and how can i fix it. for example: when playing Call of Duty 3 if there are only a couple of people playing i can play, if alot i'm not playing.  PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!
