So I got a ps3 and have been trying to hook it up to the internet for the past 2 days and nothing has worked. I have called my internet provider and playstation many times and nothing they suggested worked. I tried restarting the router, restore the playstation, specifically allowing the ps3 mac address, and manually putting in an ip address. In the end it still fails to obtain the ip address. So please help!
I've had a ps3 for a little over a year now and we have been trying to connect it to the internet I have a "wireless DSL Modem/Router" I need someone to basically talk me through the whole process
i entered ip etc into ps3 it finds ip address but fails to connect to the internet
someone told me this was wrong and not to enter ip address it then fails to find ip on its own
