Dual Try CD Recorder

I have a RCA dual tray cdrw 140 Recorder. It has been working great for a long time. Just a few days ago when I tried to make a copy of a cd, I noticed that the words CDRW appeared in the display window. I have never seen this before. When the cd is finalized it will not play at all. I have used several different type of CD's. This is the type of recorder that uses digital audio cd's. This unit still plays and I just don't know what happen. Can any of you help me out. Thank You Very Much.

Speaker Recommendations

Well my studio monitors (MA pro3's) are getting really long in the tooth and I haven't been into audio for some time now and was wondering what everyone's favorite speakers were. I need to get something soon. To give you an idea of what I like, and remember this is going back a few... the best sounding speakers I've ever had the pleasure to audtion are probably the Ohm model F. They were goofy looking, but that Walsh driver sounded sweet hooked up to that Crown amp!

Now I'm not going to blow the budget but I'll spend up to $800 on a stereo pair or satellite/sub system.

Balancing Speakers

I have a 5.1 set of systems, and just bought a 7.1 receiver. My fronts have always been way more powerful than the center and rears. Now, I'm wondering if I should invest in a couple more speakers to round out to 7.1 ... AND I'm looking for advice on the best approach to balancing my existing speakers. Aren't their devices out there that help with that?
