Dual Try CD Recorder

I have a RCA dual tray cdrw 140 Recorder. It has been working great for a long time. Just a few days ago when I tried to make a copy of a cd, I noticed that the words CDRW appeared in the display window. I have never seen this before. When the cd is finalized it will not play at all. I have used several different type of CD's. This is the type of recorder that uses digital audio cd's. This unit still plays and I just don't know what happen. Can any of you help me out.
