TIME DISPLAY ON MICRO HI-FI

We just bought and replaced (so this is the 2nd one) a TEAC CD-x9 Micro Hi-Fi System 8/31/2005. The first one the remote didn't work for the base. Now this one the display lights are dim on some of the time or showing the stations. Is there anything I can do from home for this (clean, replace lamp, etc)?

Sony CD player jostled while moving, doesn't work

Please forgive me if this is not the proper place to bring this up.

I recently moved. After setting up my Sony CD 5 disc player and turning it on, it opens the tray, spins about a quarter turn clockwise, returns, closes the tray, then repeats these actions after three or four seconds.

Has anyone experienced this? Could someone tell me if this is an easy fix, or should I replace the unit?

Thank you,
Carlton

Denon DRA750

I have a Denon DRA750 receiver. The power switch does not work correctly and I am trying to find out the Denon part number for a replacement part. I am looking for the part number and a place to buy the part. Any help would be appreciated.

Speaker Recommendation?

I'm in the market for a good set of fronts. I'm leaning toward the JBL E80.

My receiver is the Sony STR-DE898, and the rest of my speakers are JBL's.

I also only have a 5.1 setup, but my receiver is 7.1-capable.

Panasonic HI-FI Audio System Model SA-H82

Got this used system for my son to use at college. He brought it back, says the audio cut out and will not come back on. When I first got it, the sound cutout on me but came back on. Anyone know where to start to troubleshoot the problem. Cannot afford to take it in. Maybe it something I can fix.

CD player sounds like skipping

Hey... I have a sony home stereo with 5 disc cd player, about 10 yrs old. While playing cd's, it sounds as though the cd's are skipping. (like a scratched cd would) Thinking I had a scratched cd, I bought a new cd, played it on the way home in my truck (sounded great) I played it in my home stereo and the same thing happened again. I opened up the stereo cleaned the lense with rubbing alchohol and a q-tip. Needless to say that did not solve the problem. Everything else on the stereo works fine. Can anyone give me some advice on what the problem is or how to fix it please?
