Durabrand dvd player door won't open / dvd stuck

I have a Durabrand dvd player, part of a home theater system purchased from Walmart.

It's played fine for the past 3 years, until my daugther put a music cd in it. (Which probably doesn't make a diference.)

i have a lcd with built in freeview a dvd player and a vcr i have just found out that i cannot watch channels 1 to 4 and tape channel 5 (we do not receive 5 other than via freeview) my / is A. do i have to now buy another freeview box and B. if so how do i connect all the scart leads?

DVD/VCR recording problem

I have a fairly new VCR/DVD combo Magnavox MWD2205. VCR worked fine until I played a movie that was a rental and then dubbed on home vcr back around 1987. The movie played pretty well but now when I record the recored show is in black and white with sound but gets all jumpy and crazy like for a bit then you can see the picture for a while still in black in white. Should I try a headcleaner? Any help would be appreciated. 

Sony dual deck Model # SLV-D300P

I am hoping someone will be able to help me please....I'm desperate. As mentioned in the subject line I have a Sony dual deck player and the model is SLV-D300P. Unfortunately my 2 year old jammed CDs/DVDs into it. This is not the first time by the way. In the past I have removed the top and had not problem removing them. And it played just fine. But this last time, I did what I had done previously, but it is not working properly. I have the exact same brand/model in my living room and have put the dvd in to see if it is the dvd, but it plays just fine in the living room.

ERR DISK message in DVD Player

My Newly purchased DVD player (Manufacturer: Velocity) giving "ERR DISK" messages.

I recently bought it in USA, it is having USB and SD card slots too.

Earlier it used to play all the (DVD, CD all format) disk very well but now the same disk it is unable to play, sometimes it reads the disk starts to play it then after few minutes it frezees and displayes the message on TV "ERR DISK" while it is working quite fine with USB and Card slots.

I have cleaned the lense and removed the back lid for heat related problem but all seems worthless.

Nexxtech DVD player problem

I have a Nexxtech Slimline DVD player about 2 years old and recently lost the remote.  I attempted to program my Dish Network remote to control the DVD player, but the Dish Network book did not have a code for Nexxtech, so I used the scan code feature.  Now my DVD player will only play DVDs that do not have a region code.  No Region 1 DVDs will play.  I have tried the DVDs in other players and they play fine.  I believe that I accidently changed the region code of the DVD player and have been looking for a way to reset the region code to region 1.
