I need a free editing program for dvd and baby steps

My daughter  was on  tv  for  2 minutes  I have a  30 minuted

dvd of the  show  and want to take out the other  Kiss 28 minutes.

If anybody knows  how please give me  baby  steps

No volume on my tv with dvd hooked up!

I recently hooked up my sanyo dvd player, only player, to my sanyo tv and i have no volume unless I turn up the volume up really loud and then I get a buzzing sound!  HELP!

JVC TH-C30 Fuse Problem

I recently got a jvc th-c30 dvd surround sound system. the first time I played a dvd it blew a fuse after just alittle bit. So I went and bought a couple fuses. I replaced the fuse and it instantly blew again. So I tried another fuse and  it lasted about two minutes and blew. I was wondering if there is anything to look at on the board to see if there is a short somewhere?
