Television and Home Theater

  I stepped on my cable wire while moving my big ccreen tv today and the whole connection to the cable came out.The female plug came out of the back of the tv is there any way i can fix this problem my self 

i have a 1995 35inch zenith tube television that has red horizontal lines about one inch apart  and a red tint to the screen. ideas about what is the problem. worth fixing? any thoughts are appreciated

Recently the picture on this TV 'went out'. Kind of hard to describe
but I can see red colors but nothing else. I tried using the 9-point
convergance and all three of the colors came on and went through their
routine. Occasionally the picture will work ok but most of the time it
does not. One additional point, when I hit the menu button (at which
point the picture shrinks and the menu pops up) the menu items appear
to be 'washed out' but the picture looks ok.
