Television and Home Theater

I have had this TV for about a year with no problems.  One channel started coming in enlarged (subjects cut off at forhead) format OK.  I pivked up a new converter to see if that was the problem.  When I changed over my screne mode does not seem to work. ie, I cannot change modes.  Also, in"Menu" in screen selection, the 4 : 3 Default line is the onlu option I can select.  Screen Mode not available.                   Thanks for any help

my samsung hcn5527w hd rear projection tv has suddenly washed out all pictures from all sources in blue, when I go to manual convergence the blue convergence lines move but are about 1 to 2 inches wide, any quick and easy fixes for this?

This is a answer to my prvious question. (can't geta picture. The guy who answered if my tv just ouit, or has it been sitting. my brother says when he had it before it was moved, that it was getting a picture. Then it stayed in the same place and wasn't moved. He tured it off, after sitting for awhile, he turned it on and the picture would not come in. It's still the same now, ecept it's been sitting for a long time now. also you asked if it had pip.
