Television and Home Theater

 I have a Misubishi WD52525 DLP and a new Sony DVD player Model DVP-NS75H, after buying a new HDMI cable and hooking it up all I get on the screen is "No Signal". Everything works fine with component video/audio cables, but using the HDMI.

 I took the cable back, they hooked it up to a display model and it worked fine, so I don't think the cable is at fault. The salesman suggested that I needed a software upgrade on the WD52525.

 Any suggestions?

I have a sony wega kv36fs12.Recently I noted the standby light flasing 5 times.Then months later the color is goofy,seems I lost green?Tried to reset colors and reset tv but did not help.I called a repair service (Qualserve) and they said I need a new tube and quoted 1800.00.The tv new is 799.00I dont think it is the tube because no picture problem other than color issues.Can anyone help?

Hi everybody,

I've got a sony trinitron kv-a2942u that is faulty. The sound keeps muting by itself after being swtched on for 5 minutes or so, and I have to keep switching off and on the tv for the sound to come back. Has anyone come across this problem before?
