Television and Home Theater

I just recently bought a RCA HDTV (Model -HD50LPW62A) and got it connected to timewarner cable through one of their dvr boxes.  After connecting it the screen began to have lines that went bottom to top and alternated between a red tint and green tint.  I replaced the cables and it continued; I tried a different component outlet and it continued; I replaced the dvr box and it continued. However, once I connect from the box to the TV through S-video or composit the lines go away.

cant seem to fid the manual its nla,,,plug the unit in and i get high voltage the shut down. nothing....i force the  relay on  and the tv works fine  sound  picture all good...looks like a  power on relay problem  but  i replaced jsut about  everything. it looked like a reset issue  i replaced  as many of the relay transistors  and the control ic,,,,,,any  help would be nice....

im gonna buy a Qbox and replace it myself utilizing a web site i found where i guy replaced one and posted step by step instructions with pictures.I also paid to download a service manual for my tv and it has instructions for replacing the Q box in there also. anyways..........
