I have a sony KP51HW40 rear projection tv and after a few minutes of being on the screen starts to fade blue and eventually goes all blue. Please help!
Last night i was watching tv and every thing was fine, and then when I woke up to watch the game the screen's green contrast was all outa wack. It looks like you have to have 3d glasses to watch it. someone help!! its a 57 in hitachi ultravision digital if that helps.
I have owned a 32" sharp t.v appr. 2yrs. model type 32L1F5. It developed a high pitch squeal after about 13mths (of course after warranty expired). the noise starts after t.v. has been on for about 45 mins. it gets increasingly higher in pitch. the only way it stops is if we turn of the t.v. sometimes we can turn it off and right back on and the squeal is gone. at other times we have to leave it off for over 3 minutes. needless to say it is quite annoying. other than that the picture quality, audio are great. any suggestions to what it might be?
I have an 18 year old Sony TV that no longer does the degaussing routine when you turn it on. This was intermittent for a while before a complete failure. I purchased a cheap degaussing coil on ebay that works fine, but... The TV has small speakers built into the cabinet on both sides of the screen. These apparently are not shielded (duh?) and no amount of degaussing eliminates the green corners (there are four separate drivers for the speakers on this stereo TV).
This has been an excellent TV for many years, but now the screen is cutting off the edges of the picture on all sides, and it seems to be getting worse everyday! I've not been able to find any control to adjust the picture size, which is shocking because don't most TVs have that? I would greatly appreciate any ideas!!
My son has our old 45" rear projection Mitsubishi TV which still has a great picture except that the screen is very dark. Contrast and brightness are maxed out but I was told by a friend that they had theirs repaired and the technician added a fluid to three tubes and they now get a great picture. My son does not live near any TV repair shops. Is it possible to repair this himself? He has cleaned the screen. lamps and mirrors. Any help would be appreciated.
