My very old TV has worked for years. A few days ago a series of white lines have appeared on the top 1/4 of the screen. The lines form something like a trellis that my wife would use to train climbing vines in her garden. At the extreme top of the screen the lines go all the way across. As the lines progress down the screen to the 1/4 point, the lines get shorter and and are centered on the screen. The entire picture is fine. You can see the picture through the lines. Does anyone have an idea what might be the problem and the solution?&nb
