Television and Home Theater

We are trying to hook up our LG M3701C-BA monitor to our through a Harmon Kardon Receiver model AVR146 to a DVD player. Our digital cable works through S-video and when we tried to hook up our Toshiba SD-K770KU (DVD Player), the screen shows only black and white? Our monitor has only BNC or HDMI. We are really lost. Can anyone help? We really appreciate it.

THE CONVERGENCE RECENTLY WENT OUT, SHOWING BLUE AND YELLOW . I TRIED TO USE THE CONVERGENCE FUNCTION ON THE TV , BUT THE BLUE AND YELLOW WILL NOT LINE UP. HOW CAN I ORDER THE BOARD. tHIS THE SECOND TIME THIS HAPPENED. tHE FIRST TIME THE TV REPAIR SHOP REPLACED 2 IC'S 2 RESISTORS, AND 2 PICO FUSES AND IT COST $400 ABOUT A YEAR AGO. CAN I JUST REPLACE THE CONVERGENCE BOARD AND MAUNUALLY ADJUST THE CONVERGENCE AND PERFECT FOCUS?

 Im sure you guys have heard this on before but here goes.

I was just watching TV and I heard a snap and the thing went black. (no power) I dont see any reset on the back and can not get it to power-up.

It is about a 1998 Proscan 50" projection. Am not sure if its anything I can fix myself or do I have to contact a tech. Can anyone help?
