Television and Home Theater

I see three sets of pictures when watching tv. I tried just turning the adjustment screws in the front of the tv, but that didnt help. I know that you can get seriously hurt palying around in a tv, so I just want to know if anybody knows a person/ shop/ school in north jersey ( East Rutherford)0 that I either could bring the tv to, or have them come to me. I a growing family, only one tv and my wife is yelling at me to get this fixed or buy a new one. any help would be appriciated. If it were a truck, I could fix it with my eyes closed.

Hello, I have a 32 inch Ploaroid LCD that makes a crackle/snapping noise when I turn on the TV. The picture will flicker and eventually will become stable after 5-10 minutes. It's presently being used as a PC monitor, and I've had no problems with it untill just recently. All the cables seem tight and nothing from what I can se has changed. I assume that something is dying, and I am wondering if I should even bother with getting this repaired. Any sugguestions as to what it could be? And is it something that a fairly technical guy could replace. Thanks all.
