Television and Home Theater

I have a Samsung HCN5527W television. I can not see the picture while in Hi-Def. I can hear the sound but no picture. I called Samsung technical support and they tell me its my cables. I call Time Warren cable, because I have an Explorer 3100HD. Time Warren tells me that I need to replace my box and call technical support to coach me through the set up. My hi def was working fine until I had to have my coverage replaced. I had red displaying on the screen. I now can not watch Hi Def channels any more. Is there a set up in the Samsung HCN5527W that I need to make?

I have a HD Toshiba regza LCD with a Samsung HD DVD/vcr Recorder combo plus a SD Directv Tivo plus an RCA receiver. All this is hooked up now with standard AV cables. My tivo receiver has one S-Video connection on it, the DVD has HD,Component, and S video connections and the receiver has s video or component for all but no HDMI. I would like help in obtaining the best picture I can with the SD satellite receiver. I think I could connect the DVD with the HD cables directly but then I would not be able to burn DVD's off my Tivo unit.

Hi there i wonder if anyone can help. i have a sony bravia KDLV40A12U lcd tv, the problem is in the top left corner where the av preset is displayed (the name of the scart inputs) this is stuck on all the time. it should only be on for a few seconds, like changing the channels, the name disappears after a moment. just wondering if there's anything i can do or should i phone the shop. hopefully ive described the problem ok. any help would be great, its really anoying. Ta
