I bought a 50PC5D 50" LG Plasma at Circuit City three weeks ago came home mounted it on the wall and it has been great, now though...it started getting this band of vertical lines just left of center on it...they change and are multi colored....sometimes they are not there but after they appear you have to turn off the set to get rid of them....the band of lines is about 5"wide and run from top to bottom....I don't have the box anymore I bought this the on 11-23-07....oh and it does it on DVD as well as through my cable box. I have no other electronic devices playing near by either...kinda lost here I appreciate any nhelp or insight.....

Since you purchased this set less than 30 days ago, I'd just take it back. I believe that Circuit City will just exchange it. You will need the receipt though. The problem is with the internal electronics. DO NOT open up the unit as that would void the warantee. You only have a few days left before you have to deal with a service center and be without the set. Ask for an exchange.
