Television and Home Theater

I need some advice with fixing an image convergence problem on this unit. Its a 56" rear projection setup. I just paid $30 for it because I think I can fix it. I previously fixed a sony IC problem by replacing the STK's. This one has the same symptoms as my Sony TV had, only alittle more severe and with some pincusion issues as well.

I'm assuming I can simply change the STK's IC chips on this unit then work the adjustments to fix the pincusion issue. Am I on the right track, or should I pass this unit onto the scrap heap?

is there any way i could get a heat lamp for a 50' hitachi ultravision that won't cost more than my tv is worth

Im looking to wire the IR Repeater Out from the back of my Pioneer Elite 1150HD Plasma to my Niles MSU 440Z Repeater system.

 I cant find any reference to what kind of plug to use (mono 1/8 or Stereo 1/8) and how to wire it?

 Any help would be appreciated.
