I have a 48 inch rear projection tv from 2001.  It suddenly stopped working and the green timer light is flashing.  I have reset the tv and unplugged overnight and received no results.  Once in a while the tv will stop flashing and I can turn on the tv for about 5 minutes.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hey Larry,

I recently joined and noticed that you were gracious enough to supply service manuals to those in need, I am a techie although I don't do as much repair work as I used to(moved careers in 2000).

Would you please send me the service manual for the subject RPTV as I would like to tweak the convergence on it, by the way I have downloaded Panda. Is that all that is required?

Sony KP-57WV600 Problems

I have been reading these forums to try and fix a problem I've been having with this TV. I realized by reading that the convergence chips were probably bad. Had those replaced and the PICO fuses on the D board checked out. Those were ok. But to no avial the picture is still the same. When looking at the Convergence adjustment screen, the crosses are way off there mark to the left and right and warped at the top and bottom. I have a picture but it looks like it should be in 3-D.

RCA Power Problems

Working on an RCA 27V412T with power problems.  This unit will cycle on/off by self continuously.  At times, you have no control with the remote when it is doing this.  Have checked the major components on this unit, but Sams does not support it with a generic schematic and cannot check for correct voltages.  Has anyone else seen this problem or know what can be done for it?

I'm looking for the service manual for the Samsung 50" Plasma TV HP-R5052, to be able to fix a red dots issue that are appearing sporadically. Reading in some other threads in another forum, it said that this this can be fixed by adjusting the voltage controls for the panels. Any idea or input would be greatly appretiated.

problem with philips tv-model 42PF9431D/37

The philips flat screen hdtv is not working all of a sudden. Came home today and instead seeing the green light come on when I tried the remote there was a red light flashing 6 times. I have checked the manual and can't find any mention of this, any ideas of what is wrong and what can I do? Thank you for your answers ahead of time, I truly appreciate your effort!! Again the model # is 42PF431D/37
