Television and Home Theater

hoping someone can figure this one out..its bizarre..I just bought  a plasma TV and hooked my laptop up to it with a S video cable..every works great...looks sharp.but...for some strange reason.when I play a movie on my laptop..everything shows on the TV but the picture.when i play a song in Windows media Player you can see the visualizations(Electric rainbow,neon hwy..etc) on the TV...so its working...but..as soon as I play a movie on WMP..the picture disappears on the TV...but plays on the computer.

if anyone understands this...please offer a suggestion

Hello I have the mits WS-65513 and the green light is flashing could you send me the info and maybe a diagram to replace the part I don't have the extra money to have a repairman come out.  Thank you

I HAVE LG 32 INCH FLATRON LCD MONITOR,  SOMETIMES DOESEN'T POWER UP, I HAVE TO TURN IT UP ON-OFF 8 OR 10 TIMES... THE RED COLOR STANDBY LED IS NOT WORKING , ONLY WHEN THE DISPLAY IS ON,  THE SMALL GREEN LED VISIBLE... WHAT COULD BE THE PROBLEM???
