LCD TV Set

Larry Dillon said: Thats an indication of a DM board problem.  There may be four capacitors inside the DM board assembly that need replacement.  If you can solder and follow directions, I have a DM board fix for this TV set with pictures as well..  Just request the directions and leave an e-mail address, and I will send these directions to you.  If you are not handy and are not mehcanicly inclinded, do not attempt the repair yourself.  A repair person will most likely charge you 700 to 1000 bucks for a repair such as this.  Good L

Mitsubishi WS55711 Blinking Green Light

I found your great web site and  my TV has the green blinking light/ wont turn on problem . Its 5 years old and never had a problem.Last night the power in my area went out for 3 hours and when I came home from work the green light was blinking at me. I opened the back panel and the fuse after the power cord was good. I was reading a thread about capacitors on the DM board but don't know where to look for them as no diagrams. Can anyone lend a helping hand, it would be most appreciated. [email protected]

Hitachi 50" Rear Projection

I have a Hitachi 50" rear projection big screen. The set works great, has excellent picture and sound. Problem: It will work perfectly then the picture scrambles. I can tap around the rf connection or just pull on the coaxial cable and the picture straightens up and will work for hours and even days at a time. But then out of the blue the picture scrambles again or when one of the kids plays near the set it scrambles. I can tap it or pull on the cable and it straightens out again. The model # is 50UX23K. Is there something I can do to fix this myself?

Samsun 65 making me jumpy

I posted a question the other day, its on page 3, tv is 4 years old, projection, and the picture is erratic for lack of a better word. It seems to flicker like I had a bad video connection or some sort of static. Has anyone else ever had this bug????? I'm open to any and all ideas on this, Thanks, Grego. Color and everything else is fine.
