Television and Home Theater

Hello, I need help with the diagnosis and repair of my Mitsubishi WS-55511 HDTV. The set is about 4-5 years old, and recently I have began to have problems with it. The sound is working fine but the picture is blurred and has a red tint to it. I have read that some people are having problems with the picture appearing as a ghost image.  This sounds like it could be the same problem that I am having. A T.V. repair man has came to the house taken the projection unit came back and reported that it is a convergence circuit board problem and is going to cost $650. To replace.

tv is 4 yrs old two lamps and now screen has red tent can still see picture could someone help thanks

After reading many posts the problem I am having is a bit different.

Started with taking 10 power ons to turn on tv. Worked ok after each time. Then no turn on, code 22. Can hear the relay click and hi pitch, then power down. I have svc manual. Upon removing chassis, i saw that oil had dripped from chassis(not much), and traced it the 2 STK394 250's. Apparently they contain oil. (at least i hope its just oil)

--All 6 fuses (glass & pico) on PS and 1 on main board check GOOD .

--caps C9A72 & 73 on PS have tops popped slightly, board discolored under them.
