Television and Home Theater

I have a sony kp61hs10 projection tv and need some advice. At first when i turn it on the convergence is bad but as it warms up it gets better and then it gets distorted. Before the convergence was terrible but I have replace Convergence ICs and Pico fuses in the past to fix problem and it made it better but not perfect. If anyone has any ideas or knows what the problem is i would greatly appreciate it!

I've had my Samsung DLP for just over a year right after the warranty ended. bummer!! Never had problems and went to turn it on today and took about ten minutes. Few hours later went back and no screen would show up. Lamp was on and the "lamp" light does blink in the front but I know it always blinks 3 times before the TV comes on. Unplugged and TV came on but was upside down and blue. Unplugged again and after a few minutes it came on just fine. Watched for 20 minutes or so then turned off, seems like I should have left it on, but...

My 2 year old Sony 57" rear projection tv (model KP57WS520) is having issues with the stanby light. The light will blink 9 times, stop for a few seconds, and then start blinking again. I called Sony to have a tech look at it and they told me on the phone that it would be $350 excluding parts... what is wrong with my tv? and is there anything I can do to fix it?
