I have this zenith model that has yellow blotches on the screen.I heard it might be the light engine going bad.Does anyone have a similar problem?

Hello everyone,

My brother has asked me to do some research on what it might take to fix his RCA Projection TV.

Model# P46731AT
Chasis# PTK169PGA
Built in Bloomington, IN in 1994.

This has been a very reliable set with this being the first time it has ever needed any attention. However, due to its age, an expensive repair bill is probably not worth trying to fix it, especially with the change-over to all digital in February 2009 approaching fast.

my tv chassis number v20b is flashing or blinking after it has been on for more than an hour between a good clear picture and a black screen. the black screen lasts for a fraction of a second before the picture reappears. the tv flashes as many as 40 times a minute. the flashing is irregular meaning that the tempo and duration of the flash varies. any ideas on the fix?

Hello,

I have a 42' View Sonic flat screen tv Md# VPW425 (4/03)

screen is doing weird things. I can't find anything out from company. Can't find a schematic, or troubleshooting guide for this tv. Is there anyone in techlore that may have any kind schematic for this set, or maybe know where I can get one. Any help would sure be appreciated.
