Sony Projection Convergence Problem

Hello Folks,

 

I Have a Sony Projection screen television KP-57ws510 with a convergence problem. Back in February of 2013 the Convergence IC's took a dump and i replaced them with Oem Sonyo IC's and everything worked great until last week when the convergence went out again.

I opened the back of the television and noticed that one of the convergence chips and its heatsink was ice cold leading me to believe that one of the pico fuses dropped out.

Hi, I have a JVC TV that is locked (key lock) and I don't have a remote. How can I unlock it? Please assist. I also tried a universal remote, but it does not work for this model. Any help will be appreciated.        

toshiba 50H71 touch focus button

Hi I am new to the site.  I am having convergence issues with my Toshiba 50H71 tv. I am using the Service Menu to make adjustments.  When I finish, the tv prompts me with the following message: Press Touch Focus Problem: this model of TV does not have such a button on either the TV or the remote control. Is there an alternative/equivalent way of pressing the button? Thanks for any help.

Hi I am having convergence issues with my Toshiba 50H71 tv.  I have gone into Service Mode to make adjustments.  While things are improving, they are still far from perfect.  When I finish, the TV service mode asks me to press the Touch Focus button. Problem: there is no Touch Focus button on this model TV!!!  It is also not on the remote.   How do I press a button that does not exist? Thanks

Sony KP-51WS500 CRT TV

Hi all, In my basement I have an old (but goodie) big CRT TV: Sony KP-51WS500. This TV is connected to a laptop through a DVI cable (with the 1080i resolution). I have the following problem: http://i66.tinypic.com/2njzrls.jpg http://i65.tinypic.com/2uhmowk.jpg Basically, curved blue lines (and also red lines) are displayed. I tried to perform the Flash focus function but no luck.
