I have found a lot of helpful suggestions on this site to fix the issue with my TV. It has worked flawlessly for the past 7+ years. I had it stored for a few months and upon bringing it out of storage, I noticed an immediate convergence problem. Red and Blue colors seem to be off more than green and there is a bow or arc to all of the colors (green is not as bad) so I'm thinking its just blue and red that are off.
To me, the set is/was worth repair so I contacted a local repair shop to have them come into my home and take a look at it.

I aquired a 2010 mits tv free because my friend did not know why it quit and did not want to spend the money to find out. So far I have replaced the lamp and ballast board and tv still won't come on. Showing code 57 but I replaced ballast already. just wondering if tv is worth spending money to replace light engine and possibly dm board.

I just bought this set for the cost to move it, $19.00.  I know it's an old set, but I'd really like to repair it.  Any suggestions how to fix the whiteish blur?  It looks the same from all sources.  DVD, cable, RCA or S-Video.

Any info will be greatly appreciated.
