Television and Home Theater

I finally got true 1080 on my 65 inch TV bought in 2003....(i know - I'm an idiot, but it gets better) apparentlly when moving cables around, cables were plugged into the H & V out ports... later on I read that you should not plug into these if you have some kind of Fixed Green cable reciever box.... Well now when i put it on DTV it just has lines going across and says 480i instead of the 1080i it had until those cables got plugged in.... So my question is.... How do I get that fixed??? or is there a way to get 1080i thru the Component video cable without it being on the DTV input?

I have a kv32fs12 of which the picture works/looks fine, except for the top right corner is pink/magenta, and the bottom left greenish. Production date is nov. 2000. Weighs a ton, worth taking to the repair-shop?

Hello everyone.New to forum so hope this problem hasnt posted to death.Any how tv is three years old called repairman quoted 350 to 450 to rebuild cicuits.I am getting 9 blinks on service light.Can turn tv on clicking display 5 vol power.Read how to do that by reading forum threads.Am i better off just going out and buy new tv or is there a fix i can try.Thanks Bill
