Television and Home Theater

Hello,

I have a Mitsubishi VS 50707 a couple of days ago I could not turn off the TV so I unplugged it.

When I plugged it back in the next morning I was not able to turn it on.  Could you please give me some suggestions as to what it might be and please send any repair instuctions to [email protected].

I have a Phillips 60p8342 chassis #ptv 916 when you plug it in and turn it on red power light is on solid no flashing you can hear it click nothing else no sound or anything you then can not turn it off hitting power button. When you unplug it and plug it in power light is off till you hit power again. I have checked all the fuses and they are fine. Thanks in advance if you might have a solution  Bob

Gave $100 down and have the option to get out of the deal. I will try to explaine the symptoms as best I can. Please let me know if repair is a good idea or if I should put the 250 towards a new tv.

-dark scenes have a blue tint to them with faint arched horizontal lines (lt. blue)

-when changing channels, the sceen also goes blue with same lines, sometimes accompanied by red lines.

-slight dark bows at top and bottom of screen as if picture is being pinched.

-black images sometimes appear blue and sometimes look fine.
