Television and Home Theater

I recently changes the fluid for my CRTs. After changing the fluid, set powered on but needed converging. I attempted to use my remote to access the menu function but couldn't access the menu. After a day or so, the set stopped coming on completely, the power light comes on but nothing else. I reopened the set to see if I had put a wire back incorrectly, but didnt see where that was the case.

I have a  sony kdl-52s4100 LCD which has a good picture except from the center right which the picture is folded over so I see 2 of everything the 2nd being larger it also blinks in and out of normal rapidly. A service center installed the main video board but it did not fix it. They said it might be the LCD screen! Is this possible the set is only 1 year old. they ordered a power supply board but it is on factory back order till the end of June. Please help!!

I'm hoping someone here can help me with getting a Firmware update for my Mitsubishi WS-65813. I've been directed to call Mitsubishi Support for one, but haven't been able to get thru to them yet. This site seems to have alot of resources that someone here might be able to help me out with.

Theres nothing wrong with my set other than the internal tuner is slow to change channels and seems alittle primitive compared to my OTA STB.  If I could upgrade the firmware maybe it would be a little better to use and I could free up a component input on the set.
