Television and Home Theater

I did some searching and can not find what I'm looking for.  I have
a Mitsubishi WS-55413 that all of a sudden turned off and won't turn
back on.  When I press the power button the tv clicks like it wants to
turn on and the green light comes on then the tv shuts off and the
green light turns off.  I don't get the blinking lights.  I have the
service manual with the schematics but not knowing anything about tv
repair I'm not sure where to look.  Will you help?

Bought a used mitsubushi tv, no remote. can get a picture if we play a dvd but only sound if on satellite. Universal remote works but I dont know what we are doing wrong. Thanks ahead of time.

I have horizonal blue/grey lines that run throughout my picture.  They don't move.  The whole picture is grey, green and blue and I hired a repairman to come fix it over 5 weeks ago.  He has been back twice and took a part with him last time. He wrote Mitsubishi for an answer and so far has come up with nothing that has solved it. He said he has never seen lines like this. Can someone please help solve this?  This is my big screen tv in my livingroom and I really miss watching tv out there.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks.
