Television and Home Theater

About 2 months ago, I turned my tv on and my colors were all screwed up with these additions to the other stories I have read.

1 - It seems my aspect will not work on the remote , the tv seems stuck in full zoom mode as the top and bottom are stretched out that I cannot see about 5 inches of either.  And before you say I'm doing it in component mode, I'm not - it does it on all video modes including the tuner as well. So when I look at the convergence crosses, they are almost off the screen top and bottom. Left and right is unaffected.

Hi everyone and thanks for letting me post. This is my first time in a forum and am looking for some help. Lightning struck my neighbors house and the flash fried two of my cable boxes. When the repairman came to fix it we found that the tv power light would come on and flash 1 or two times and then shut off, no picture either. I have a power surge protector on my main breaker box, but am afraid that the strike was too close. Can my tv be repaired? Is there a protection fuse anywhere? What can I do? Thanks for your time.

I took my bad DMU board to a technician and he replaced the powersupply and bad compacitiors.  I hooked everything back up and I get audio but no video.  I tried componet, cable etc.  The menu for the TV does appear on the screen.  Any ideas would help!
