Hey, I have a philips model #60pp9200d/37 rear projection tv that wont come on but flashes a code of 6 slow and then 8 fast. Does anyone know where to find the codes or what this means? I've looked everywhere.

Just replace the STK's with new Sanyo STK392-110's...did magic focus and received a code 5 error...tried touch-up alignment and screen does not show the cursor position indicator.  I can only align red in center of screen...also, i cannot switch to blue.  What resistors am I to check...where can I purchase?

This TV has developed an intermittent fault.

The set is switched on and functions ok for a varying period, but then loses the program.  The sound and picture vanish and the screen then shows a light snow effect.  Just before the picture and sound go, the screen may go blue, infrequently yellow.  The sound may hiss depending on the level it was previously set.

Two Toshiba TV's with similar problems

I have a Toshiba TP48E50 and a TP55D80 RPTV's with the same problem.The red crt guns do not work on either tv. Is there a power problem with these guns or just bad crt's. Anyone with knowledge on these set's would be appreciated. Also repair manuals would be of great help as well.I can be contacted at [email protected]. Thanks Mechhead

 

Hitachi CU4600B no power

I have a Hitachi CU4600B with a no power situation. The red power light comes on but no picture and no sound. If I unplug the set I hear a click,a thump from the speakers and the crt guns flash on and off. This only happens if I unplug the set while the power light is on. Anyone with a solution or directions to this problem would be greatly appreciated Also anyone with a manual would be nice.Thanks for all the great info on this site.
