You seem to be helping a lot of folks fixing their problems.   Hope you will have a chance to respond.  I had some convregence problem alinging the grids and reading numerous threads in this forum helped me a great deal finally manually converging my 7+ year old TV.  

does anyone know how to rest passwor on this tv. older model tv and philips support will not help.  also so only have a universal remote for this set. thank you.

I have a RCA LCD TV, model number L42WD22, it shut off out of the blue one day, possibly during a power surge, so I unplugged it waited ten mins plugged it back in the green status light came on for about two mins then a red blinking light started, and the screen never showed a picture.
