The picuture of my Sony that is 2 1/2 years old went out and the power light was blinking red with a 9 blink code. After about 15 min I turned it on again and it looked normal for about 15 min, then the picture went out and the 9 blink code. I then unplugged everything and plugged it back in directly to the wall, and after about 15 min the picture turned yellow, then pink, and had some green vertical stripes, then went out. This time the power light blinked steady green and it turned itself back on in about 4 minutes! Then the picture started to change color again so I shut it off and left it. I just pulled the back off to look for a loose wire, but everything looks OK. About 2 months ago the picture went out and I changed the bulb, but now I wonder if it was the same problem starting up.
I would really appreciate any advice before calling out a service rep.
